Mistral Magic Panel (0330). This is a real panel antenna because it not only has the flat shape of panel antennas, but also has a lot of depth. It is not internally limited to just a simple dipole. It consists of: > A flat reflector. > An edge-fed planar monopole. > A flat element ( director ). > Two flat waveguides, left and right.. All these flat surfaces perform better with the same number of elements than an antenna with classic elements (tubes). These elements ( surfaces ) create a fairly narrow reception lobe which gives satisfactory gain and reception only from the front.
